What is Gigmeister?
Gigmeister is a band management app for gigging musicians. It keeps the setlists, chord charts, MIDI program changes, backing tracks and click, band calendar, shared booking inbox, and rider pack in one place, synced to every member's device. It runs on the web, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android (beta), and is free to start.
Who is Gigmeister for?
Working bands that play live: cover bands with a 200-song catalog, function and wedding bands, worship teams, original bands, and solo performers running tracks. Anyone who carries a setlist, a rig with program changes, or a booking inbox to the gig uses the same app as the rest of the band.
Can Gigmeister send MIDI program changes automatically?
Yes. Assign a patch to each song, or to each section inside it, and Gigmeister sends the Bank Select and Program Change messages as the set moves on. 53 devices ship pre-mapped, including Nord, Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Line 6 Helix, Kemper, and MainStage, so there are no bank numbers to look up.
Does Gigmeister work offline?
Yes. Charts, setlists, MIDI, and backing tracks keep working with no connection, and changes made offline sync on their own once the device is back online. Only the Backstage features that are live by nature—chat, the shared inbox, rider pack, and insights—need a connection.
Can Gigmeister replace BandHelper or OnSong?
Yes. A BandHelper export brings the whole band across, setlists and gig history included, and ChordPro, OnSong, Ultimate Guitar, PDF, and CSV charts import too. Gigmeister then adds what those apps leave out: the booking inbox, band calendar, rider pack, and MIDI automation per song section.
How much does Gigmeister cost?
Gigmeister is free to start, with no card needed. The free plan covers two members, 10 songs, and 2 setlists—enough to set up the band and try it on a real gig. A paid subscription, monthly or yearly, lifts those limits for the whole band on every platform.
